Did you know there is a museum in Gettysburg, that depicts that batters of the Civil War through the use of soldiers that are cats? Well, in July of 2018, we got to visit this museum, and let me tell you, it is true!
On August 24, 2019, we traveled to Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania to the Star Barn for a Civil War re-enactment and to take a ride on the Lincoln Funeral Train. We knew there would be vendors and part of the J. Howard Wert collection was going to be there as well. We didn't know that we would actually be able to see the podium that was used by Abraham Lincoln when he delivered the Gettysburg Address. What an amazing surprise, to be that close to a piece of American history, was a truly humbling experience.
We have visited the Farnsworth House Inn in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania on three different occasions. Each time, we not only discovered something new and interesting about the location, but our research into the haunted and paranormal realm is always stimulated by these visits.
In July of 2017, We traveled to the Antietam Battlefield and came across this hidden gem off the beaten bath so to speak. The Pry House, which during the battle was General McClellan's Headquarters, but is now a Civil War Medical Museum.
