In July of 2013 we traveled to Mount Vernon to visit the home and grave site of our Nation's first president, George Washington. Not only is Mount Vernon an awesome location to visit, on the grounds are several burials that most people overlook.
During our stay on November 9, 2017 in St. Louis Missouri, we decided to rent a car and make the hour and forty minute drive to Springfield, Illinois to pay our respects to our 16th President, Abraham Lincoln.
On April 3, 2015, we traveled to Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio and stopped at the monument of the 20th president of the United States, James A. Garfield.
