Apparitions, Ghost of H.H. Holmes, and Haunted U-Boat - Chicago Museum of Science and Industry2/21/2020
In November of 2019, we traveled once again to Chicago, Illinois and on this trip we stopped at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry building (MSI). This was one of the spots that has been on our list for some time, since this is the only "major" building left from the 1893 Chicago World's Fair, a.k.a. The Columbian Exposition.
In November of 2018, we traveled out to San Diego, California and took a tour on the USS Midway Museum. In this post we will share with you some of the history of the ship, our investigation in the Sick Bay Area, and some tips if you would like to visit the ship yourself in the future.
In July of 2019, we traveled to Point Pleasant, West Virginia. One of our stops was the Tu-Endie-Wei State Park. In the middle of that park sits, the Mansion House Museum. Fortunately, the museum was open when we stopped for the visit.

In October of 2008, we traveled to Memphis, Tennessee and one of the locations that we visited was the National Civil Rights Museum and the Lorraine Motel. This is the location of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s assassination.
In October of 2018, we traveled to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to visit the Senator Heinz History Museum, we found some amazing treasures and artifacts there.
In June of 2017, we traveled to Dearborn, Michigan and visited Henry Ford's Greenfield Village. Located at the village is the actual Thomas Edison Menlo Park Laboratory which Henry Ford moved to the village in 1929.
If you would like to see a massive Christmas collection, then Castle Noel in Medina, Ohio is the place you want to visit. From old store front Christmas displays to props from Christmas movies, this former church is packed full of items for everyone ages 9 to 92. We have visited this location twice so far, and are certain we will go back again sometime in the future.
Nestled within a little neighborhood in Cleveland, Ohio is a little house from a very iconic holiday movie, the Christmas Story House. Our question was, is this house haunted?

In June of 2017, we traveled up to Dearborn, Michigan and to the Henry Ford Museum. This will be one of several posts that we do about the museum and the Greenfield Village, but this one will be focused on the Presidential Limousines at the museum.
Did you know there is a museum in Gettysburg, that depicts that batters of the Civil War through the use of soldiers that are cats? Well, in July of 2018, we got to visit this museum, and let me tell you, it is true!
On September 14, we traveled to Marietta, Ohio and one of our stops was the Cawley and Peoples Mortuary Museum. Actually, this was the originally planned location stop for this trip, we just found other places to stop and do while we were there.
We are going to go way back to July 19, 2006 for this one, back to our honeymoon and before we even had any clue about starting Our Haunted Travel adventures. This was one of the places we wanted to visit during our trip, and we were so glad that we did. Thomas Edison and Henry Ford's winter Estates (properties next to each other) in Fort Myers, Florida, now one large historical site.
On July 8, 2019 we traveled to Point Pleasant, West Virginia to find out more about the paranormal activity in the town and as much as we could about the Mothman.
On August 17, 2019, we traveled back to The Fight 93 National Memorial in Stoysville, Pennsylvania. This was our second visit to the memorial, and who so much has changed.
In May of 2019, we traveled to Dundee Michigan, and took a tour of the Old Mill Museum. The building and antique collection were simply amazing, and this location is also what we like to call, "paranormal friendly". They embrace the paranormal claims at this location and love to talk about them too.
In July of 2018. We returned again to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and one of our stops on this trip was to the Gettysburg Dime Museum. We had heard that this location would be closing, and we had to stop and check out the collection.
On July 3, 2015 we traveled to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and one of the stops we had to make was to the The Mütter Museum since this location was on Marianne's bucket list. A whole building with the collection from the The College of Physicians of Philadelphia, of course it was on the list.
On July 22, 2017 we traveled to Silver Spring, Maryland and one of our stops was the National Museum of Health and Medicine. What an amazing museum with some very interesting artifacts, and the best part, it was free.

In June of 2017, we traveled to the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan and one of the items that we saw on display there was the original, authenticated bus that Rosa Parks one on when she made her stand for civil rights.
