In July of 2013, we traveled to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and one of the locations we made sure to visit while were there was the Eisenhower National Historic site which is the only home that was owned by General Eisenhower and his wife Mamie.
In this blog post (and video) we will share with you different places in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania that are related to and associated with President Dwight D. Eisenhower. From when he first visited Gettysburg until his passing.
In June of 2019, we traveled to Farmington, PA for a Bigfoot conference, and one of the stops we made on that trip was at the Fort Necessity National Battlefield along the National Pike Highway or The National Road.
In July of 2013, we traveled to Washington, D.C. and took a tour of Ford's Theatre. Ford's Theatre is the location where John Wilkes Booth stepped into the Presidential box on April 14, 1865 and shot Abraham Lincoln in the back of the head as he was watching the play, Our American Cousin.
In July of 2013, we traveled to Washington, D.C. and stopped at Ford's Theater and the Petersen House across the street. The Peterson House is where President Abraham Lincoln took his last breath.
Sitting on the top of the hill in Harper's Ferry is the prominent St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church which we visited in July of 2017. This was the location where we all met for the Harpers Ferry Ghost walk.
On September 21, 2019, we continued our adventures and hikes for the day and went down to the Blue Hen Falls in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park that is reportedly haunted, but was quiet beautiful at the same time.
On September 21, 2019 we traveled to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and visited the Brandywine Falls and the outside are of the Inn at Brandywine Falls. We have heard of some reports around the falls, so we did a little investigating while were there as well.
On August 17, 2019, we traveled back to The Fight 93 National Memorial in Stoysville, Pennsylvania. This was our second visit to the memorial, and who so much has changed.
In July of 2017, we made a stop while in Harper's Ferry and made a short hike up the “Application Trail” to view the Jefferson Rock.
