In July of 2015, we traveled to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and went looking for different locations associated and linked to one of our Founding Fathers, Benjamin Franklin.
In July of 2015, we traveled to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and one of our stops was the Christ Church Burial Grounds in the Historical Independence section of downtown. This is also the location of Benjamin Franklin's grave.
In July of 2015, we traveled to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and one of our stops was a the Eastern State Penitentiary. We schedule a day tour at the facility and were not prepared for what happened during the tour.
In July of 2015, we traveled to Philadelphia, and unfortunately did not get a chance to go inside Independence Hall, but we were able to visit outside of the building. It was surreal to walk on the same streets as and experience the building that our founding fathers used to create our Nation.
In July of 2015 we traveled to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and stopped in to see Betsy Ross. Of course the stop was at her former home, but she is still there as well.
On July 3, 2015 we traveled to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and one of the stops we had to make was to the The Mütter Museum since this location was on Marianne's bucket list. A whole building with the collection from the The College of Physicians of Philadelphia, of course it was on the list.
