In June of 2018 we traveled to Madison, Ohio and participated in a group investigation of the Madison Seminary.
Now owned by paranormal investigator Adam Kimmell, the Madison Seminary has a very colorful past and many paranormal reports.
We knew about this location for some time, and attempted on several occasions to make contact with the previous owners to setup an investigation. We even tried to contact them a few times to organize a group investigation with Dark Shadow Ghost Tours; however, things just didn't work out. When a friend of ours, Andrea Rufener contacted us about a group investigation that was going to take place at the building, we moved around our schedule so that we could attend. When we arrived, we greeted everyone and met up with good friends of ours Bill and Katie with PSPR Paranormal, who also participated in the group investigation that night as well as several other individuals who were part of our Dark Shadow Ghost Tours family. After getting our equipment settled, we walked around the outside of the building to get some footage and pictures.
We had some time before the investigation, so we decided to do a live stream. We were lucky to get Adam to come on the stream with us and Marianne walked around the building a little bit showing the viewers inside the building. You can check out that live stream below.
Next, we took a tour of the building. This is normal practice for these locations before an investigation. They take you through the building telling you some of the history and point out some of the paranormal hot spots and reports. At the time we were there, they were still working on some renovations, but the rooms they had finished were awesome.
After another little break, the investigation began. There were several people in attendance, so we broke up in groups. We went out with Bill and Katie and started in the "Civil War" section, conducting an EVP session trying to make contact with Elizabeth Stiles. We also made our way up into the attic to investigate some of the reports up there as well.
