In April of 2018, we traveled to Chicago to attend an event that was at the Congress Plaza Hotel. Part of that event was a bus tour down to the Englewood Post Office, which happens to be the former location of H.H. Holmes Murder Castle.
In November of 2019, we traveled to Chicago, Illinois and our hotel was on the banks of the Chicago river. We learned more about the disaster when we visited the Chicago History Museum, but wanted to do a bit more research for ourselves.
In July of 2016, we traveled to Miami, Florida and one of the locations we wanted to visit was in South Beach, and that is the former Versace Mansion. We new very well about want happened there, but didn't realize what we would run into at the location.
In November of 2019, we traveled to Chicago, Illinois and one of the locations that we visited was the Chicago History Museum. Almost everyone we have talked to about this location did not realize that this museum currently houses the Abraham Lincoln death bed.
On July 17, 2016 we traveled down to Key West, Florida and one of the locations we had to stop in and visit was Captain Tony's Saloon. Quite an interesting place to visit and full of items that could cause a potential haunting.
In October of 2011, we traveled out to Los Angeles, and one of our stops on this trip as the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Not only is this a historical location, but there are several who believe the theater is also very haunted.
In June of 2017, we traveled up to Dearborn, Michigan and to the Henry Ford Museum. This will be one of several posts that we do about the museum and the Greenfield Village, but this one will be focused on the Presidential Limousines at the museum.
In July of 2006, we traveled down the coast of the United States and one of the locations we spend some time was on Ocracoke Island. This was not a scheduled stop, but it turn out to be one of our greatest mistakes.
In May of 2015 we attended a special event at Malabar Farms in Lucas, Ohio. The subject of the event was a special presentation about Ceely Rose which incorporated a short paranormal investigation at the Ceely Rose house that is on the same property as the Malabar Farm.
In July of 2015 we traveled to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and stopped in to see Betsy Ross. Of course the stop was at her former home, but she is still there as well.
In November of 2019, we participated in the Hotel Conneaut Psychic fair again and ran the ghost hunt on Saturday evening. This event is so well organized and put together we just highly recommend anyone who is into the paranormal to attend.
We have visited St. Augustine on two separate occasions. Once, during our honeymoon in 2006 and we went back again in 2010. During the trip in 2010, our quest in researching the paranormal first began.
In July of 2019, we finally made it to the West Virginia Penitentiary in Moundsville, West Virginia. This location has been on our bucket list for a long time and we are glad we finally got the chance to visit and take some of our family with us on the trip.
In this update, we will talk about our recent travels over the weekends of November 9 and November 16 of 2019. We traveled both weekends, back-to-back and put together this short vlog to share with our supporters.
In October of 2011, we traveled to California and one of our stops was in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. Little do most people know when they look up at the Hollywood Sign that it is actually haunted.
In July of 2018, we traveled back to Gettysburg and wanted to research and find the bridge that contains the dinosaur footprints that we read about on-line. We were successful in locating the bridge.
During our visit to Point Pleasant, West Virginia in July of 2019, we stopped by the State Theater on the main street next to the Silver Bridge memorial, and yes it is for sale.
In November of 2018, we traveled to San Diego, California and one of our stops was to visit the Steam Ferry Berkeley, and look into some of the reported haunted claims about this ship. Little did we know, Marianne would get a treasure from the ship.
Did you know there is a museum in Gettysburg, that depicts that batters of the Civil War through the use of soldiers that are cats? Well, in July of 2018, we got to visit this museum, and let me tell you, it is true!
We do a lot of traveling, and have lost a lot of charging cables. Finally, I came up with an idea to help us out while we were out on the road. The idea was very cost effective and simple.
