A Few Days at Dealey Plaza

In November of 2012, we traveled to Dallas, Texas. Marianne's conference was there that year, but our hotel room was just blocks away from Dealey Plaza. We walked down to the plaza almost every day we were there in Dallas.

For those of you who don't know, Dealey Plaza is the location where John F. Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963. Almost 50 years later, the plaza looks the same as it did on that day when those shorts were fired on the presidential motorcade.

We put together a video about the history and our personal experiences when we were there. You can check out that video below.

If you would like to see more photos from our visit, please see the "More Photos" button below. We have a couple other blog posts from our visit as well if you would like to check them out:

  • Recreating the Zapruder Film

  • Interview from Behind the Picket Fence

Have you been to Dealey Plaza? If you have, let us know about your adventure down in the comments below. We would love to hear about it.
