When we were in Dallas in 2012, we took a JFK Trolley Tour that takes you from Dealey Plaza to all of the locations associated with the assignation. We recently found some video footage that was buried in our digital media.

It has been 14 years since we last visited Dallas, during which time we participated in this tour. We checked, and they are still offered through Bid D Fun Tours. If we ever get back to Dallas, we will definitely take this tour again. Here is a description from their webpage.
What was it like to be in Dallas the day our 35th President was assassinated? The JFK tour takes you back to November 22, 1963, as if you were there. Travel the motorcade through downtown Dallas and the minute-by-minute timeline of Lee Harvey Oswald. Visit Oswald’s rooming house and the famed Texas Theater. You will be moved by the intense and sobering events narrated by certified JFK historians who are born and raised in Dallas. If you do nothing else in Dallas, this tour is a “Fun Things to Do in Dallas” must.

Regarding the footage we found, we have some clips from the tour. Please keep in mind that this footage was recorded using a digital photo camera back in 2012, so the quality is not that great; however, the information and experience are priceless. You can check out the tour in the following video.
The tour begins next to the Texas Schoolbook Depository in Dealey Plaza. The tour begins by taking you along the actual parade route. The trolley will slow down in Dealey Plaza, where the shots were fired. From there, you visit the location of J.D. Tippet's shooting and Oswald's boarding house. Finally, you pass the Texas Theater, the site of Oswald's capture.

Again, we highly recommend this tour if you find yourself in Dealey Plaza. Leave us a comment below if you have been on this tour before.
