In June of 2025, we traveled to Jamestown, Virginia, to spend time exploring the Jamestown Rediscovery Museum and the surrounding historic grounds. With so much history packed into this location, we knew we would need to pace ourselves and be selective about where we started. Marianne had done some research ahead of time and was especially interested in one particular building that offered a more profound look into the archaeological discoveries made on site.

In June of 2025, we traveled to Jamestown, Virginia, to spend time exploring the Jamestown Rediscovery Museum and the surrounding archaeological grounds. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this location was more than just a museum—it was an active historical site where the earliest chapters of English America were still being uncovered.

In July of 2016, we got the opportunity to take a cruise out of Miami and traveled to San Juan, Puerto Rico. One of the locations where we stopped and toured was at the Castillo San Cristobal, where we heard the ghostly love story about Maria and Betancourt.

In July of 2016, we took a cruise for our 10th anniversary. At that time we were deep into paranormal research and wanted to extend our vacation and travel down to the Keys in Florida as part of our trip. One of the locations that we visited, twice, was the East Martello Musuem. This is the home to many different artifacts, including Robert the Doll.

In June of 2025, we traveled to Baltimore, Maryland, and one of the locations we stopped at was the historical Fort McHenry. The location that was under bombardment by the British during the battle of 1812 and inspired Francis Scott Key to write the Star-Spangled Banner.
