Marianne is back with another Haunted History Recipe, this time featuring Pizza Pot Pies for St. Valentine's Day Massacre. These little pizzas are just wonderful and very easy to make.
For this Haunted History recipe, Marianne selected this recipe since it was aligned with this week's theme of the St. Valentine's Day Massacre that we are covering on our YouTube channel.
The recipe of Pizza Pot Pies is a signature dish of the Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder Co. which is the building that is located across the street from 2122 N. Clark St. in Chicago, which was the location of the SMC Cartage Company Garage (the location of the St. Valentine's Day Massacre). Two of Al Capone's men (allegedly-as it is still an unsolved crime) were camped out in this building, watching across the street waiting for "Bugs" Moran to enter the building.
If you would like to see the complete recipe video, check it out below. Marianne will take you through making the Pizza Pot Pies, step-by-step; however, you can also print out the recipe for yourself right here.
Just a few steps to prepare the pizza pot pies for the oven. Cheese, sauce, and your favorite toppings are added to ramekins just before adding the crust on top.
400 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes is all that it takes to have these delicious pizza pot pies.
