Hummingbird Cake - Zoar Village

VIDEO RECIPE. The week that we covered Zoar Village on our YouTube Channel, Marianne made a Haunted History Recipe video about Hummingbird Cake, which is related to the topics that we covered for Zoar Village.

In this video, Marianne will share with you how to make a hummingbird Cake from the Meeting House Inn in Zoar Village, Ohio. She will walk you through start to finish in this recipe covering the ingredients, how to make the frosting, what goes into the cakes, and how to assemble it.

In the video description, we provided a link to a Google Document where you can download the complete recipe. The link to that document is here.

The video will walk you through the entire process:

Zoar is a village in Tuscarawas County, Ohio, United States. The population was 169 at the 2010 census. The community was founded in 1817 by German religious dissenters as a utopian community, which survived until 1853. Much of the village's early layout survives, as do many buildings from its utopian origins.
