Our Visit to the Barbara Fritchie House in Frederick, Maryland
In June of 2025, we traveled to Frederick, a town rich with Civil War history and timeless charm. During our visit, we learned about the story of Barbara Fritchie, a local legend whose name is forever tied to one of Frederick’s most famous historic homes. Her story immediately caught our attention, blending patriotism, folklore, and the lingering echoes of the past that always seem to draw us in.

Visiting the Old Frederick Courthouse
In June of 2025, we traveled to Frederick, Maryland, and one of the stops that we had to make was the old Frederick Court House. We visited the old Frederick Court House not only because of its rich history, but also because it has been the subject of several haunted claims.

Our Visit to the National Civil War Medical Museum
In June of 2025 we traveled to Frederick, Maryland, and one of the locations on our list for the visit was the National Civil War Medical Museum. The reason for this stop was twofold. First, Marianne loves museums with medical-related artifacts, and this location is one of the most haunted in Frederick.
