Our Visit to the National Civil War Medical Museum
In June of 2025 we traveled to Frederick, Maryland, and one of the locations on our list for the visit was the National Civil War Medical Museum. The reason for this stop was twofold. First, Marianne loves museums with medical-related artifacts, and this location is one of the most haunted in Frederick.

Mollie of the Haunted Harmar Tavern
In September of 2018, we traveled to Marietta, Ohio, and joined in on a ghost tour of the Harmar area of the city. One of the locations on that tour was the Harmar Tavern, and we learned about the story of a spirit named Mollie that resides in the tavern.

Visiting the Grave Creek Mound and Museum
In July of 2019, we traveled to Moundsville, West Virginia, and one of our stops was at the Grave Creek Mound across the street from the West Virginia Penitentiary. After visiting the museum, we also took the time to climb the steps around the mound to reach its summit, which is almost 70 feet tall.

We were at this location back in 2006 on our honeymoon but only drove by the location and did not tour. This time, we made it a point to stop and visit.

A couple of visits to Fort East Martello Museum
