On our return trip home, we decided to stop at the Stone House located within Manassas National Battlefield Park. According to Marianne’s research, this was one location we absolutely did not want to miss due to the numerous paranormal claims tied to the building.

In June of 2025, we traveled to Yorktown, Virginia, ready to explore the historic town on foot despite the intense summer heat. After finding a parking spot, we set out with water bottles in hand, knowing we would be walking for several hours. Yorktown has a way of pulling you in, with its quiet streets, historic structures, and the sense that history is never very far beneath the surface.

In June of 2025, we found ourselves once again in Fredericksburg, Virginia, a town we have visited many times and never seem to grow tired of exploring. Each trip feels like opening a familiar book and discovering a page we somehow missed before. This time, we set our sights on the historic Rising Sun Tavern, eager to finally take the guided tour and learn more about one of the city’s most well-known colonial buildings.

In June of 2025, we traveled to Baltimore, Maryland, to visit several historic and haunted locations. One of the stops on our list was The Horse You Came In On Saloon, which is reportedly the last place where Poe stopped for a drink before being found in a delirious state shortly before his death. In September of 2018, we traveled to Marietta, Ohio, and joined in on a ghost tour of the Harmar area of the city. One of the locations on that tour was the Harmar Tavern, and we learned about the story of a spirit named Mollie that resides in the tavern.
