For Memorial Day 2023, we had the honor and privilege to spend the weekend in one of our favorite locations, Gettysburg. We have never traveled on a holiday before, and we were surprised by the new sites we were able to witness, including the placing of American Flags on every grave at the Gettysburg Soldiers National Cemetery.
We have been to the cemetery several times as we always visit at least a few times each trip, but this visit was something special for us. See all of those flags on the graves was very impressive. We put together a video of our experience which you can see below.
If you have not visited the cemetery yourself, please make sure you stop and pay your respects the next time you are in Gettysburg. The cemetery is located at 1195 Baltimore Pike, Gettysburg, PA.
