On May 11, 2019 we traveled out to Toledo and the Midwest Para-fest Conference and had the great opportunity to meet with Jeff Mudgett again and here him speak during the conference.
Just so you are aware, Jeff Mudgett is the direct descendant of Herman Webster Mudgett (H.H. Holmes), often referred to as the first serial killer in America. This is significant because it raises the question about genetics and environmental influences when it comes to serial killers.

For those of you who don't know, Marianne is a huge fan of Jeff's ever since she started to study the H.H. Holmes case. We have a few copies of his book (Bloodstains), was part of the watch group on Facebook for American Ripper, and even attended a special event in Chicago, were we got the chance to sit down and personally interview Jeff. As soon as we walked into the para-fest, Marianne made a b-line over to say hello. Not that it matters, but Shawn is a fan as well.
We made sure to catch Jeff's talk at the conference, and you get to see most of that as well, with some of Marianne's commentary. The next 2 videos is Jeff's presentation.
Like I mentioned, Marianne is a big fan, she got some more still shots of Jeff while he was speaking... although we were taking video too.
We had a great time at the Midwest Para-fest, and spending time with Jeff. Below we have including Jeff's Ted Talk from Vancouver when he spoke more about his book Bloodstains.
Let us know down in the comments if you have met Jeff or even heard of H.H. Holmes before. We would be very interested to hear your thoughts.
